Aug 23rd, 2017 One Month in the Bronx!

We met this guy on the street and he had a parrot that he let us hold (because we're in the Bronx and that's the kinda stuff you see sometimes)
Us at the Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens but it looks like the jungle

I can't believe I have been in the field for an entire month! It certainly doesn't feel that way at all! I'm very sorry time is so short today so I can't write a lot! So I'll just right the highlights
.

Last p-day we went to the botanical gardens that was a lot of fun. It crazy that you can go inside and it doesn't seem that you are even in NYC anymore.

Saturday we got to go to the temple with a recent convert to receive her endowment! It was so special she is such a sweet person and so ready to receive this gift. One of her missionaries even came back to be with her on this very special day! I was so blesses to get to go to the temple, even though it was in Spanish and I could only kind of understand what was going on!

Monday I had another split with Sister Hildreth so I got to go back to the English program and teach for a day in English that was a lot of fun. The miracle of the day was we felt we should go look up an investigator who was dropped over a year ago. We went and knocked on the door and she let us in. She told us that she had been hoping she would run into missionaries again because now her life had calmed down enough and she was ready to listen to our message! It's a bummer I won't get to teach her long term cuz she was so awesome!

Then today we got to go to temple again! So twice in one week! What a blessing this time the session was in Mandarin Chinese but luckily this time I got a head set with the English translation! I'm sorry I don't have more time to write but I love hearing from all of you! I love you all lots! Have a good week!
