Sept 20th, 2017 Three Months Out and A Great Zone Conference!

Hello family and friends how has this week been for all of you?

This week was crazy busy. But I've come to expect nothing else from the Bronx. On Thursday I hit my 3 month mark! I can't believe I have been out for that long! Some days it feels like i just got here and others it feels like I have been here forever (but in a good way).

Friday I went on a split with Sister Bandeaux she is from the English program

she's really nice and just got transferred here from Manhattan. She's really fun and they day was really fun even though all of the appointments that they had planned that we were going to go through fell through and we only did look ups all day it was really fun.

Though I love Sister Morales it is always fun to get out and see how other companionships do things. I always learn a lot on splits.

Because last Sunday was stake conference this Sunday was our first one where we didn't go to both wards. It was kind of sad. I have so much love for those members that it's hard to see them and know that they aren't " My members" anymore.

Tuesday we had zone conference it was so good. We were all asked to prepare 3-5 minute talks on diligence and a few of us we be asked to give them. I almost didn't prepare one because I never get called on for things like this. But boy am I glad I did prepare one because I did get called on. Worst 3 minutes ever! Even though I spend all day everyday teaching and testifying there is something very different and terrifying about doing it in front of your peers. But other than that I learned a lot about how we can help our investigators and the spirit was able to give Hermana Morales and I some good ideas to address the specific needs of a few of our investigators. I love that we can have that opportunity every cycle.

Today we have people working in our apartment because for the past 4-5

What my apartment looks like right now cuz they are trying to fix all the damage. But on the bright side our apartment is going to be way nicer when they finish!

months there has been water leaking in to our walls. We asked the super to Fix it and he never did. So finally we complained to management and so now they are fixing it so we had to be out of the house today. So for P-day we decided to just have an adventure. So we got on a random bus and got off on the last stop before we got out of our area. It was actually really fun. We ate yummy Dominican food and got cannolis
