Nov 29, 2017 I Don't Live In New York City Anymore!

Good morning every one I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving full of lots of turkey and thankfulness! I also had a great thanksgiving! We went to 2 members houses for thanksgiving dinner and I actually didn't eat turkey or stuffing at either one! But they were both still awesome.

Hermana Azuara was making about 500 tamales when we came over

Also, on Thanksgiving we did a Thanksgiving APF where we had a board and let people write what they are thankful for on it. And then if they would let us we would show them the new #LighttheWorld video. Which is awesome. If you haven't watched it already you should watch it. And if you have watched it already you should watch it again, and start following the light the World schedule!

This video was made in downtown Manhatten.  The church really put this vending machine on the street, and those are missionaries from my mission.

Also, in case the subject line didn't give it away, I got transferred! Which is bitter sweet! I really loved the Bronx and the Kingsbridge ward and  of course Sister Morales.  It was hard to say good bye to the members and investigators that I love there.

But now I am in Darien Connecticut! So I don't even live in New York State anymore! But I'm super excited to be here. I actually am assigned to a bi-lingual ward. It's about 2/3 English and 1/3 Spanish and so the missionaries translate into Spanish. So that's will be a fun challenge to help me improve my Spanish. I'm definitely a little nervous about that.

Our area is huge! It's probably 20 times bigger than my last area! So we get a car! That will be so nice once it starts snowing!

My new companion is Hermana Blad! She’s really awesome! She’s from Washington State and was going to UVU studying nutrition before she came out to the mission! She really nice and her Spanish is really good! I definitely have a lot to learn from her!

I don't have a lot of time to write today so it's a short letter but there are lots of pictures to make up for it!
