Dec 20th, 2017 Merry Christmas Everybody!

December 20th, 2017

Hey everybody merry Christmas! I hope that you are all having a wonderfully Christ filled Christmas season!

I don't have a ton of time today so I will just write a quick update!

This week has been so busy! With all the holidays we have been full up to ears with teaching appointments, meetings etc, one of those meetings was a mission conference/ Christmas devotional. It was so powerful! It was several speakers and tons of Christmas hymns. You could feel the spirit so strong! At the end we sang silent night together as a mission which was so cool because we sang it in our mission language so you could hear, English, Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese being sung as well as you could see the ASL missionaries signing. I love my mission and how diverse all the missionaries are so that we can teach all the many diverse people of the New York, New York north mission!
I also got to see Hermana Morales again along with all the other missionaries I was serving with in the Bronx which was fun as well as Daniel Little, a friend from home that just came out. It really was such an awesome spirit filled, Conference!

A miracle this week: on Sunday night it was 8:40 and we were about to head home. We had been tracting we’d had a little success but not a ton. We had just got in the car and Hermana Blad had even turned on the car. When we saw this lady through her kitchen window. We looked at each other and said let's go talk to her. So we walked up and at first she was not happy because we were knocking so late. But she let us show her the light the World video and we just had a really awesome conversation with her. She even said she only has her mom and 2 kids for Christmas and said she really wants to come to church with us on Christmas Eve.

I love this work that I am apart of! I hope you all have a wonderful week and a very merry Christmas! I love you all!

Love, Hermana Dobson
