Hello all,
I don't have a ton of time to write this week so it will just be the highlights.

1: we got to go to the temple last week. So awesome! I love the temple so much!

Unfortunately, Satan did everything in his power to stop us, so it was quite the adventure getting there and back. We had had a ride the night before from a member in the ward who works in the Temple Wednesday mornings and loves to take missionaries so they don't have to take the train. So we had set everything up with her and were all ready to head out. Then at 7:45 she called saying that it was supposed to snow and just to be safe she wasn't going to drive into the city.

So we decided to take the train down. So we drive to the train station and there is NO WHERE to park. We drove around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot. We ended up having to pay triple for parking and it was still really far away. Then we finally get to the train station and are trying to buy tickets but none of the machines will take a card and only one of them would even take cash.

So we had to scrounge up enough cash to pay for 2 one way tickets. As we are trying to pay for tickets the train we needed to take came and went because we couldn't do the transaction fast enough. So we had to wait for the next one. Which ended up being the wrong one so we had to take a transfer at the next stop to another line. And we had to wait for that train too. Finally we got on the train and it was better after that. Until we had to transfer from the train to the subway which went fine. It just made the trip more complicated. But a happy coincidence is that we ran into Sister Blad and her companion on the subway down to the temple.

Though we had been trying for the 11:00 session we got there at about 11:20 so we decided to get lunch and wait for the 12:30 session. We ate lunch in this cute little Mexican restaurant. And had been doing some math with the phone calculator and left it on the table. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until after our session when we were on the subway and 70 blocks away from the temple.

So we got off and called the other sisters in Facebook and luckily they were still in Manhattan and went back and got it for us. But we had to wait in the Bronx for an hour while they went back and got it and then could come meet us. And then we ran to the train and caught the last one out before 6:00 and made the hour and a half train ride back to Connecticut. By the time we got back in our area it was just 3 minutes before P- day ended.

Satan definitely tried very hard to get us to not go to the temple last week but we were still able to go and feel so much spirit and peace and we have definitely been blessed this week because we did go to the temple.

2: On Saturday we were told that after President and Sister Smith leave this July we will be getting a new mission president as well as that our mission boundaries will be re-aligned. The New York, New York north mission will no longer exist. Most of it will become part of the new york, New York city mission. Which will include all 5 boroughs of new york city. Also one of the stakes currently in our boundaries will become part of the new jersey mission. So that's really exciting. Its so cool that we will have all of new york city! And as part of merge we will be getting 2 more languages, Korean and kreel(an African language)  . So now we will have the Gospel being taught in 7 different languages within the boundaries of 1 mission! The lord is truly hastening his work.

3: A miracle this week: last week we looked up a former and she was interested in us teaching her again so we started teaching her and she flat out told us that one of the reasons she didn't get baptized before is because she firmly believes in the trinity and that God and christ are not to separate beings. So we invited her to read John 3:16-17. This week we had a lesson with her and she told us that she had been wrong her whole life. Heavenly Father and Jesus christ are two separate people. The spirit was able to help her remove one of her road blocks to getting to the right path. It was such an amazing week.
