Hi folks the time is
short so I'll make this quick.
This
week was really awesome! Last P- day was 71 degrees so we went to the beach and
it was glorious. (lots of pictures to follow) but mostly this week was awesome
because of something President Smith gave us this week.
President
Smith sent out a document with 10 questions for every point of the first 3
lessons so that we can ask people in lessons to help them learn better. We
have been trying to use the list of questions as much as possible
and they work really well in lessons but we also have been using them to start
door approaches when tracting and street contacting. We decide on a door or a
person to talk to then on a question we feel the person needs to be asked we
then start a conversation using the question we picked. And although we have
still met people who don't want to listen to our message we are still able to
have meaningful conversations with them and help plant a seed do that maybe the
next time missionaries knock on their door they will be more open to receiving
them. For example we were going to knock on one house and asked the woman that
opened "what does family mean to you?" at first she just kinda looked
at us and laughed and then I watched her face change as she actually thought
about the question. She talked about how her family is the hardest but best
thing that she has in her life. We were able to testify of eternal families and
even though she wasn't interested in having us come back, she felt the spirit
and knows that she can have an eternal family. I'm so excited to see what
other miracles we will find by asking inspired questions.
I love you all a lot
and hope you have a wonderful week!
Love, Hermana Dobson
