Hola familia! Como
están? I don't have a lot of time today so I'll make This quick!
This week was really
awesome so many miracles! First one I went on a split to Stamford with Hermana
Seggara it was really awesome we have both been out about the same amount of
time and were both trained in the City so it was fun to just talk and swap stories
all day. But we also had a funny miracle. We were driving away from a look up
and we saw a guy with one leg walking away on crutches. We kinda talked about
him for a minute and how the plan of salvation could really help him out. Then
we went to the mall to grab dinner really quick because we were running off to
the next thing. We were waiting in line for food when we see this same guy! I'm
not sure how he got there before us but it was pretty obvious he was there on a
date. The girl was sitting down across from him and they were eating. We
decided seeing the same one legged guy twice in 20 minutes was just
too big of a coincidence so we decided to talk to him. So we interrupted his
date and just started talking to him. Turns out his grandpa is Mormon and also
that he just lost his leg a month ago in an accident. We were able to testify
of the atonement and plan of salvation. We added him on Facebook and the
Stamford missionaries are talking to him.
Second miracle: last
Sunday we had a fast for Marie, our investigator (eternigator) who we
finally got to pray a few weeks ago, because she wouldn't read the book of
Mormon! We have invited and invited and invited her to read it and she always
says it doesn't captivate her so she goes back to the bible. Well on Saturday
we showed up and she had read. Not just a little bit either! She'd read 12
chapters and had questions and said she wanted to keep reading. She said she
loved it. And then we shared some stories from farther in the book and she said
she's so excited to get there in her reading and read them for herself. Prayers
and fasting are so real. And even though she still has a long way to go she is
finally starting to do the little things to grow her testimony. I am so excited
to watch her keep progressing.
I love you all and
hope you have a great week!
Love, Hermana Dobson
