This week has been great! We had a ton of conferences but it was so awesome. We are so blessed with leaders who are called of God. Friday we had MLC and talked about being "All In". And doing everything we can to give everything we have and giving it to the lord. Then Sunday we had stake conference which was a, so super great! I was translating so i don't remember a lot of what was said but the spirt was super strong! Then we also got to watch President Nelsons broadcast! Which was amazing! I loved that he talked about how he knows he will have to give an account to the Lord of his stewardship here as profet and so he is doing everything he can to help now. We truly are so blessed to live in this time when Israel is being gathered. It is so cool that right now that is my full time job and a live that he wants the youth to even more involved in this amazing work.

We also had an amazing
lesson with a part member family. Brother and sister Cervantes. The elders
have been working with them for a while and never had success because they
could always get the husband (member) at home but never could catch the wife
(non member) home. So we have been trying for the last few weeks but have not
had much success either. They would always cancel the appointment last minute.
But then on Saturday we went and the husband and his mom was home but his wife
wasn't and her told us she wasn't going to come home until after we left. So we
decided to change the lesson plan and teach more to him instead of the lesson
we had planned for her. But then about 10 minutes in she came in and sat down
so we changed the lesson plan back to what we had planned for her. She
sat down but wasn't really paying attention and was only playing with the kids
and that's it but then as we started to teach her about eternal families she
started to cry. And told us that all she wants in life is for her family to be
happy and together forever. Even though it was the first lesson we didn't talk
about being baptized or coming to church or even praying to know it's true. But
we testified that read the book of Mormon and praying as a family will bring
unity and is the first step in having an eternal family. They are so excited to
do it! I love the way the spirit works and testifies 9f truth!
Miracle this week: It was a split miracle! The Stamford Sisters have an amazing investigator who has been really progressing towards baptism and has learned so quickly , loves the gospel and keeps every commitment. Sister Robbins and I had the opportunity to teach her on our split this week. She really is so prepared and we had a really amazing lesson with her on the Word of wisdom. Then at the end of the lesson she told us she was moving to Norwalk so that she can start living the law of chastity. She doesn't want to let anything get in the way of baptism. But un that means she is moving out of the Stamford area. But because we had a split that day she was able to meet the missionaries that will be able to teach her in Norwalk and we will be able to make it a smooth transition so that her testimony will not suffer. We are so excited to get to work with her and also to involve the Stamford Sisters so that she can progress in the best way possible.
