This week has been really amazing! Since my companion and I are both pretty new to the area we don't know many people so this week we have really been working on building member trust and it has been going very well. We have received several member referrals and they are people who really have potential to progress.
A miracle this week:
Me and Hermana had both felt prompted several times to go look up one of the people we teach who lives with a member. So we just passed by. We get there and the member lets us in and we sit down and she chastised us little bit for passing by and not just setting an appointment like we normally do. We then explained to her that we had been prompted by the spirit and just asked her if she knew why we had been prompted to come. She then immediately broke down. Her brother in law was just killed back in her country. Her sister and best friend is so distraught by it and the member feels so bad she can travel to go see her. She wanted to help her sister feel better but she didn't know how. We were able to share with her the plan of salvation and as we taught her you could see peace come over her face. She is so excited to share the plan of salvation with her sister to bring her the same peace she felt. I love the plan of salvation and the understanding and joy it brings into our lives!
