Hola Family!
This week has been
great! I hit 6 months in the area! I love being here in Darien and am so
grateful to have so much time here. It has been such a blessing to be here! I
love it here!
Miracle this week: I
was on a split with Sister Christoffersen and we were supposed to go do service
by helping their investigators clean the house they are about to move into. So
we came in our service clothes but they ended up not being there. We weren't
anywhere near a place where we could change our clothes again so we decided to
go service tracting. We went door to door offering any service we could. People
were super receptive and willing to let us help out. They were several people
that said they didn't have anything right now but they took our card and
promised to call us when they need something. One of the last doors we knocked
was a cute older couple they had company over but we were offering free service
so they stepped outside and talked to us for over 20 minutes and left their
guests inside alone. We were able to set a return appointment to weed their
yard and bring a 10 minute message. I'm pretty sure the only reason they talked
to us is because we were offering free service and now their hearts are much
more open to receiving to the gospel. And it honestly was the most fun
I've ever had tracting!
