Aug 13, 2018 And the Rain Came Tumbling Down!

Hola Familia

This week has been really good! It has rained A LOT, which I love! There is something about seeing two soaking wet missionaries walking down the street that softens people's hearts a little bit. They understand that if we are working in the rain there our message must be pretty important. We have had some really awesome conversations this week. No one that was ready just yet but we were able plant some seeds. I love this work and that it keeps going on no matter what. I know those that are prepared are out there if we go find them!

We also had this really cool activity as a ward. The city of Yonkers was doing a celebration and invited our ward and many other organizations to come and present on their organization. So the missionaries and about 12 ward members went and were in charge of it! And it was really awesome we handed out over 65 pamphlets and 30 books of Mormon! And the best part was that the ward members got super excited and wanted to do all the talking. Mostly we as the missionaries stood back and listened until the ward member got a little stuck and wanted help. But they did so great and have fire testimonies and did such an amazing job! We ended up getting soaked by the end of the night but it was so much fun!
