Hola Familia
This week has been
awesome and literally just flew by! I'm not even sure what happened.
We had zone conference
which was awesome. It was only our second zone conference with President
Teuscher. The first one was just 5 days after he came in to the field so it was
really cool to see how much he has grown since last zone conference. He
obviously is still trying to figure out what direction he wants to take the
mission but now he has a really good vision and great plans to help is become a
mission that the Lord can trust! I'm excited to keep working with him.
A miracle this week!
We were out doing look ups and we both really needed to use the bathroom. We
weren't far from the church so we decided to go there. We walk in and our
bishop is there and pulls us into his office to find this lady named Rosa. She
walked by the church and saw our poster for English class so she rang the
doorbell wanting to more about English class. So bishop let her in and they
started talking. Turns out she took the missionary discussions 33 years ago in
her country and was interested in hearing them again but she never found the
church or missionaries after she moved here. We were able to get her contact
info and we will be teaching tomorrow! I know that the Lord prepared us to be
at the church at the exact time that Rosa was there. He knows and loves everyone
of his children and will do anything to help them get back to him.
