Hola familia!
This week has been
great! The transfer is winding down! Transfers are a week from tomorrow! I
can't believe another cycle has come and gone! It totally just flew by! I can't
believe I have been in Yonkers for almost 3 months now!
This week has been
good! It's finally starting to feel like fall around here. The weather has
dropped into the 50-60 degree range! I pulled out my sweaters for the first
time this week so that was fun! It's also rained a ton which makes it easier to
find people at home so that's a bonus!
A miracle this week!
Sister Wilson and Sister McAllister found and taught this super awesome family
while on an exchange a couple weeks ago. And since then we haven't really been
able to get in contact with them. We didn't get their phone number so the only
way of contacting them was just knocking on their door! We have been stopping
by 2-3 times a week for the past 2 weeks and we're about to give them a little
bit of a break. We decided to try one more time. We did and no answer.
We were about to leave
but then we felt prompted to check our area book and saw a former person that
lived a floor below that we had never seen before. We knocked her door and...
She didn't answer... So we turned away from the door and as we did that the
cute couple walked in the door to the building. We were able to go up with them
and teach a short little lesson and set a return appointment. They are so
prepared and really just want to understand God's plan for them! I'm so excited
to help them progress toward making covenants with him!
Love you all!
Love,
Hermana Dobson
I'm not sure what's
going on in this country right now! But Lays® just made an amazing decision and
brought Canadian flavored ketchup chips into the States! #Blessed. My roommates
didn't really like them... Oh well, more for me
