Oct 29, 2018 Cambios (One Last Transfer !)

Saying good bye to the cute little girls in the ward.
Hola Familia!

This week has been crazy and full of surprises! We had transfer calls this Saturday and I received quite the surprise! I thought with me not having much time left on my mission that I would be staying in Yonkers until the end. But alas that is not the case! Sister Walker is staying here and receiving a new Sister while I am being transfered to Inwood! It's the very top side of Manhattan and is literally right next to the Bronx, my first area! And I'm replacing Hermana Chacon! Who has been in Inwood for 7 1/2 months since she left me in Connecticut! I'm going to be companions with Hermana Thompson. I don't really know anything about her so I guess I'll find out and tell y’all next week!

I'm sad to be leaving Yonkers I've learned and grown a lot here and have really come to love the people and the members in this area! My testimony has been greatly strengthened of how much God is in the details. We can see his divine fingerprints all throughout our lives. He prepares his children to receive his servants and he prepares his servants to be worthy and ready to find his lost children. I'm so grateful for the lessons I've learned through serving and also watching the members here serve. I've seen some amazing changes in people's lives while I've been here. Including many changes to my own life.

I'm also very excited to move forward into my next area and to continue learning. I'm very excited to be in one of the biggest cities in the world during the most special times of the year. Serving and teaching people about Jesus Christ and how we celebrate him all year round and not just at Christmas. I don't know what the lord has prepared for me in Inwood, but I'm very excited to find out!

I love you all! Have an amazing week!
