Hola familia
y amigos!
This week
was super good! We had Zone conference and it was so amazing! We had lots of
trainings that's were super amazing and helpful! President Teuscher also laid
out his mission goals! And he is really going to take the mission to really
great places in the 3 years he has here! The mission has already grown a lot in
the time he's been here and I'm excited to watching it keep progressing!
We also had
exchanges this week! And in the mission they are doing a new way of exchanges
that they haven't done in this mission before. Instead of one staying in the
area and one going to the area of the Sister Training Leader we both went into
the area of the sister training leaders. Which wasn't that different since we
cover the same area only in Spanish, so I just taught in English for a day with
Sister Combe! It was lots of fun! It has been interesting, however when they
have exchanges with other sisters from other areas! We have 6 sisters staying
in our one little apartment. It's started to feel kinda like a Sorority house
though (hence the subject line)! But it's been fun to have sleep overs with all
the different sisters!
A miracle
this week! Church yesterday was awesome! We have been working a lot with 5 less
active/ part member families this past transfer without having too much
success. They are always very receptive when we come over and a green to come
to church but never quite make it come Sunday morning! But this week they all
decided to show up the same week! I'm not sure what changed for this week but
it was so awesome to see them all there! And they all loved it and had a really
great experience and the members were super awesome about reaching out to them
in love. And all 5 families committed to come to general conference next Sunday
as well! #MissionaryWin! I'm also super excited for conference next week and I
hope you all too!
