Hola familia,
Our ward has Noche de Hispanidad to celebrate all the culture that there is with the ward! We ate lots of yummy food and saw lots of fun dancing and singing from all of the different countries!

This week has been amazing, crazy and full of miracles!
Two Miracles this week!

1. Remember Shasha? She's the girl that we worked with a lot and left on her mission a week ago to Peru. Well her dad is not a member and has never really been super interested. When we would go to her house we would invite him to the lessons and he would always say he would rather watch his baseball game. But this week we went over and he had so many questions for us about missionary work and what his daughter was doing. And when we invited him into the lesson he practically jumped of the couch to turn off his game and come listen we shared a short scripture from Mosiah 28 about how Heavenly father protects his missionaries and he just loved it and asked for us to leave him with the reference so he could email Sasha about it. His wife was so shocked and delighted. His heart is definitely starting to change thanks to the sacrifice of his daughter.

2. Remer the miracle lady, Filomena, visiting from Ecuador? I talked about her last week. She is SO prepared, we have taught her several times this week and she is seriously the cutest! She does all of her reading assignments and actually understands most of what it says. And even though she only met the gospel a few weeks ago she has prayed about it and received her answer that it's true and has been communicating with her friends and family back in her country telling them that when she gets back she wants them to go to church with her. She even looked up the Chapel nearest to her and has us send her information the missionaries that are assigned there. She is to perfect and adorable. She's so excited to be baptized and we are so excited for her! The lord is definitely preparing the hearts of his children and he's preparing his missionaries to find those prepared people!

Love,
Hermana Dobson
